Welcome to
our home on the web! We own, raise and train colorful Hunter Jumpers
and
All Around Horses in San Diego, California at my family's
Carmel Valley Ranch.
Specializing in beautiful
horses that can show one weekend and go out on the trail the
next.
Our main focus is the Greater San Diego Hunter Jumper Association Open
Shows. But we also show at some breed shows like Arabian,
Friesian
and POA. We enjoy working with a diverse group of
breeds and
pride ourselves with the uniqueness they bring to the hunter jumper
ring!

Every 5 Minutes
an American horse is slaughtered- in Mexico and Canada for
human
consumption. Most of those horses are young healthy horses
that ended up in the wrong hands. My family and I have made
a living off of the horse's back, now it's time to give back.
My daughter and I made this video about one of the horses my
family saved last Spring.
So,
what can you do? You can donate to your local rescues.
Avoid taking
your horse to auctions or giving them away! Think twice
before
overbreeding, there are so many nice young prospects! If you
do see a
"free" horse put the word out, use sites like Facebook to spread the
word to your friends and get the horse to safety. And lastly,
but a
better option than having your horse go on a slaughter truck for 3 plus
days without food or water, to a scary death is to consider humane
euthanasia as a last resort.
